While staying at the hotel, take your pooch for a stroll through Princes Island Park which is Calgary’s urban park located a few blocks north of the hotel on the Bow River. Princes Island Park is an on-leash park that offers picturesque pathways for you and your pet to enjoy.

If you are looking for an off-leash park for your pet, look no further than the open green space located at Macdonald and Bellevue in the neighborhood of Ramsey. Take a walk east on 9th Avenue towards Inglewood go under the railroad pass left at Macdonald and you’re there.

On vacation!

After your pet has tuckered themselves out playing, be sure to stop in at Pops Dairy Bar and Grille located at 1024 Bellevue Ave SE right across the street from the park. Pops is a true Calgary treasure full of history and carried forward from the city’s earliest days. The venue includes soft ice cream, vintage floats, real scoop shakes, hard ice cream cones, parfaits and Sundays and they use the best locally available ice cream.
